Alocação ótima de potência reativa em sistemas de potências.

Abstract

We present two methods of optimal allocation of reactive power in this work: the method of minimizing currents in lines and the method of minimization of active losses. Since the two methods use elements of the bar impedance matrix, we return the equations of a ZBUS load flow, since the impedance matrix had to be stored. We investigate the introduction of inequality constraints and present a way of introducing them that guarantees a feasible solution. In Chapters 2 and 3 we present the mathematical formulation of the methods; In Chapter 4, we show the results of application to the systems used for testing and in Chapter 5, we make some concluding remarks.
