Resumen:
This article is the formal record of the experiences of the Monitoring Project in discipline
Curriculum and School, the Faculty of Education, the school year 2015.2. It aims to make
a reflection on the school curriculum in the light of recent curriculum policies. Search is
also thinking of the consequences of such policies in pedagogical practice, and
consequently the quality of education. In this work, we emphasize the curriculum as a
cultural construction, in which various subjects participate. This reflection shows is
relevant because it is through the curriculum that will select the knowledge to form the
other. The core of this work is the National Curriculum Common Base which should guide
educational practices within the Basic Education nationwide. The right to basic education
allows an expansion of citizenship. As for the methodological approach this article was being built systematically in curriculum classes: readings, discussions and textual
productions allowed to arrive at this outcome, presented here in the form of article. The
conducted study ratifies that the quality of the offered curriculum has direct impact on the
quality of education, but above all, in the formation of man as a social being.
