Resumo:
This work shows a contribution for the municipality energy planning of Campina Grande. The proposal of a municipality energy planning is a part of a wider strategy looking for the way of a autocentralized development, besides new actions in other fields. The first step for the energy planning of Campina Grande is the raising of its energy balance. This matrix is composed by electricity, petroleum derivatives, ethanol, firewood and charcoal. Tie worrying aspect is related with the significant participation of firewood and charcoal, whose intensive utilization has led to large-scale desertification, specially in the Northeast of Brazil.Energy alternatives for the municipality are introduced, aiming to contribute for a better life quality of its population. An integration of centralized energy systems with decentralized ones is proposed.
