Resumen:
The research explains the importance of Emotional Intelligence in organizational environments, as well as tries to highlight the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in these environments and the importance of quality training for administrators. Based on these premises, it was necessary to present the concept of Emotional Intelligence, its benefits, contributions, and the need for people managers to be prepared to deal with adversity. The method of procedure is that of literature review together with the deductive method. This study adopts a qualitative approach and presents descriptive aspects, focusing on the emotional intelligence of managers of business organizations and the challenges faced during the pandemic. Data were collected for this investigation through academic productions available in the SCIELO academic repository. Regarding data collection, a survey was made of articles that contained
the following keywords: "emotional intelligence" and "COVID-19".
