Résumé:
This work presents the development of a bioinspired antenna for 5G network applications, speciically designed to operate at a frequency of 3.5 GHz. Using Gielis’ Superformula, which allows the generation of complex shapes based on geometries found in nature, the antenna was designed to optimize characteristics such as bandwidth and radiation eficiency. The study involves a comparison between a conventional patch antenna and the developed bioinspired antenna, using simulations and experimental measurements to evaluate performance. The results demonstrate that the bioinspired antenna not only meets the operational requirements for the 5G band but also ofers signiicantly greater bandwidth, with a 70% increase compared to the patch antenna, and an efective balance between gain and directivity compared to traditional models.
