Avaliação do vigor de sementes de gergelim (Sesamum indicum L.) armazenadas em diferentes embalagens e condições de conservação.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate the vigour of gingely seeds of cultivar CNPA-G2, when stored in two conditions (ambient conditions of Campina Grande city-Paraíba State and drying chamber) and three types de packages (paper bag, polyethilene bag and metallic container), during a six months period. The results showed that, for all the types of packages used, the vigour of the seeds is superior in the drying chamber storage. The metallic container showed to be the best to maintain the physiological quality of these seeds.
