Comparação da resistência de três cultivares de soja a danos mecânicos.

Abstract

The high levels of agricultural grain losses in Brazil, although unknown in values, is a real problem that affects the country economy and reduces the available food for the people. In this work, the mechanical strenght of three varieties of soybean, developed at Universidade Federal de Viçosa, were compared. The variety UFV 80-135 was found to be the one with larger grain size and with a greater strenght to mechanical impacts.
