Construção de secador vibro-fluidizado.

Abstract

This present paper describe the construction of a vibro-fluidized dryer built by Metal Vibro Metalúrgica (Jundiaí/SP). This kind of dryer is very efficient in drying sludge type materials (chemical suspension, fermentation products and sub-products, and biological materials suspensions), sliced spices and fruit, and vegetable pulp. The dryer consists in a vibrating layer built in three separated compartments with allows three different air inlet conditions. The dryer layer inclination degree is adjustable.
