Estudo comparativo da eficiência de dois separadores em espiral no beneficiamento de sementes de soja.

Abstract

This work had the objetive of testing the efficiency of two spiral separator (A and B) with different constructive characteristics, on soybean seeds processing. It has observed that equipment B have had betther performance sepparating small beans of the soybean seeds, with efficiency of 67,6%, and it promoted an increase of seeds germination potential from 2,5 to 5,7%, due to the remotion of addled, seeds bad shapped, and the ones attacted by insect. The percentage of discarding good soybean seeds togheter with small beans was over 66,0% on equipment B and 16,0% in equipament A.
