Estudo da aeração durante o armazenamento de cebola.

Abstract

An experimental work was developed to study the continuous aeration effects on the storage of onions bulbs ( Allium cepa L. ), variety Regia, during one month’s period. Analysis of moisture content, weight loss and Brix degree were done to evaluate the quality aspects of the product. Tukey’s Test results indicated that aeration did not improve the quality conservation of onions, during one month storage period.
