PDST- Programa para Dimensionamento de Silo Trincheira.

Abstract

Field structures like Silos are known for a long time. Although these structures be very useful they are not very used in northeast of Brazil were the pastures are not available along the year. This work presents a software written in Pascal 6.0 for economical design of silo. Input data are animals weigth, period of food, quantity of animals, type of and its yied (ton/há). This software makes design to local conditions, calculates individual daily consumption and drove, calculates daily slice, calculates area of planting and offer to user two complementaries options, the cost estimate and cost estimate in saving conditions.
