Um novo modelo para o cálculo do gradiente de pressão em uma camada de Canola Iciola-41.

Abstract

Beginning with classical Darcy`s Law, for fluid flow through porous material, and a semi-empirical model for the permeability of a grain bed, a new model was developed for pressure gradient calculation in a column of canola. It presents the advantage of requiring a minimum experimental effort. Results obtained with this model were compared with Hunter`s showing a very good agreement. This new model is comparable, in terms of the parameters involved, to those well known of Ergun and of Fischer, it presented, however, better results for the canola than the latter.
