Resumen:
This research's main objective is to analyze the environmental impacts arising from mining in the municipality of Aurora, with emphasis on Diamond Saw. As a way of enriching the theme, images, tables, thoughts of some authors and maps of the location of the research area were inserted. During field research, various damages to the soil can be observed, from the suppression of vegetation, river and noise pollution, as well as the collapse of rocky bodies into the lower parts of the relief, causing a deep crater. The diamond saw is seen as a tourist attraction, where many tourists visit the chapel and statue of Padre Cícero. During the preparation of the research, articles, theses, books by authors were read, Sanchez (1994), Santiago (2021), Andrade (2017), Brandao and Feitosa (1998), Silva (2007), Farias (2002), Enriquez (2007), Fernandes (2014), Neto (2009), Moreira (1992), Wagner (2002), Júnior (2012), Viana (2012), Laurance (2011), both readings contributed to the development of the research. There were records of referenced photos and personal collections, showing the Diamante saw. As a way of minimizing this environmental problem, the laws aimed at environmental inspection were analyzed, as a result of which it is worth highlighting that it would be extremely important to plan excavations, as well as an action plan to recover degraded areas, carry out the dispose of waste correctly, use tools that can detect possible irregularities, among other appropriate measures to minimize the impacts caused by mining.
