Resumo:
The position of the ventilators in poultry installation is problem that is not
resolved yet through the thermodynamic and bioclimatic point of view. The objective of
this work was to studied by simulation the positioning of ventilators, using reduced scale
models to analyze the climatic data, and electric resistance to simulate the heat liberate by
the animals. There was studied three different positions to install the ventilators
prototypes: Longitudinal direction, transversal direction and diagonal with an inclination
of 45º with gyrator movement of 180º. The data was collected in spring time, anylising
then with black globe temperature, dry and wet bulbs temperature, maximum and
minimum temperature and wind speed. The thermal confort indexes utilized to evaluate
the stud were: TG, CTR, Te, BGHI, THI. The statistical outline used were casualized
blocks and Tukey’s test to compare the means. The result demonstrated that there was a
significant different between the trataments, and that the positioning of the ventilators in
the diagonal direction showed to have a best performance in comparison to the studied
indexes.
