Estudo das ações em silos horizontais.

Abstract

This paper presents study of the pressures and calculation of two types of walls horizontal silos. Actions was calculated using soil mechanics theory ( Coulomb and Rankine). The relative displacement of the structure and agricultural material in storage was evaluated. In order to calculate the pressures on the horizontal silos wall, one must determine the physical properties of the product to be stored (grain). The basic parameters are : density, angle of internal friction and angle of friction wall. Using height of 2,7 m for the wall are presented the actions considering the calculation of stability.
