Abstract

The aim of this work was to verify the viability of the lightweight tiles fabrication with a wood-cement composite (WCC). A very quick setting cement (Brazilian type CP V ARI) enables a better results for all utilization vegetal biomass treatment. Vegetal particles mineralization increased the compression strength of the samples, while the same treatment reduced the mix workability.
