Abstract

The research presents an abroad overview of the systematisation of technological innovations that occur in the constructive systems of bamboo for housing, in Brazil and abroad, through a State of Art survey. The intention of research is to define technical guidelines for the uses of this renewable material, for housing production, specially in rural area or in the transition of the countryside with urban area, making possible also the recovery of degradated area through bamboo plantation.
