Abstract

The stick-wall silo is a kind of low cost above surface silo, purposed to small farmers. The walls are built of stakes and sticks tighted with thin wire or sisal fiber. The inner surface is revested by plastic canvas which are also used for cover. The stick-wall silo aims at reducing the silage cost by cheapenning the ensiling process.
