Resumen:
This work focuses on the convergence of the iterative process of Load Flow solution to highlight its practical importance, as a fundamental problem of the analysis of power systems. We present a method, proposed by Venikov et al. (1), which is characterized by solving almost all convergence problems. In addition, the Venikov method, in cases where there is no solution, allows us to know in which region of the system the solution has become impossible. Demonstrative examples and several other examples of application to the Chesf-Eletronorte system are included.
