Resumen:
This paper presents an analysis of the Casa da Mulher Quilombola in the community of Grilo, located in Riachão de Bacamarte/PB, founded in 2017, focusing on its function as a space for collectivity and female protagonism. The research was conducted with the aim of understanding the dynamics and importance of this space, in addition to investigating the demands and perspectives of the 10 quilombola women who frequent it. The methodology adopted included qualitative and phenomenological analysis, using case study and oral history as data collection strategies. The study is based on a bibliographical review on the topic, highlighting the historical and social context of Quilombo do Grilo, as well as the feminist theories that support the analysis. The results highlight the Casa da Mulher Qui-lombola as a space of resistance and female empowerment, which could align with an intersectional feminism perspective. It is concluded that the House plays a crucial role in promoting culture, strengthening quilombola identity and articulating the social demands of black women in the community. It is hoped that this study will contribute to a greater understanding of black female protagonism in Brazilian rural contexts and to the streng-thening of policies and practices that promote gender equality and the appreciation of cultural diversity.
