Resumo:
Law No. 13,415 of 2017 reformed the structures and curricular organization of Secondary Education throughout Brazil. This reform structured education in formative itineraries with the insertion of the technical formative itinerary for schools that offer Education with a Vocational Course. In this regard, the aim of this research is to analyze the Technical Training Itinerary of the Integral Technical Citizen Schools in the state of Paraíba, through the entrepreneurial subjects entitled: Social and Scientific Innovation, Community Intervention and Pedagogical Enterprise, which are set out in the 2023 Paraíba State High School Curriculum Proposal document. In this way, our research consists of an analysis of official documents, such as the Paraíba High School Curriculum Proposal, the 2024 Operational Guideline, Laws No. 11.100; No. 13.010 of 2023; No. 13.415 of 2017; No. 9.394 of 196; academic articles and works that discuss the relationship between education and the labor market. The theoretical framework is based on the concept of ‘human capital’ in the light of Larva (2019), who criticizes how modern society proposes to commercialize education, carrying out this action through the construction of a ‘flexible curriculum’, a concept discussed by Santos and Silva (2022), based on the concept of the ‘culture of the new capitalism’ by American sociologist Richard Sennett (2006).
