Resumo:
This work presents the development of an automated irrigation system for small and medium-sized agricultural properties, aiming to promote efficient use of water and energy in agriculture. Based on the ESP32 microcontroller and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, the system integrates soil moisture, temperature, and water flow sensors, along with remotely controlled actuators. The monitoring interface was developed using Node-RED, allowing real-time visualization and control of irrigation conditions. The methodology involved component selection, hardware setup, and software development for automation and control, using the MQTT protocol for communication and automating valve activation according to soil moisture levels.
