Resumo:
The objective of this work was to evaluate the performance of a microirrigation system for an area of 220 ha. Within a representative subarea for the project, it were determined the Christiansen’s uniformity coeffcient (CUC) and the distribution coefficient (CUD), under normal operation conditions and after maintenance of the system. This maintenane comprised two sequential stages: a) disengaging the microsprinklers which presented any kind of obstruction and replacing them where it was necessary; b) sealing the hydraulic system. It was verified that under normal operation conditions, the coefficients values were lower than the minimum recommended in the literature. The coefficients increased greatly after the maintenance of the hydraulic system.
