Résumé:

Water bad quality is a limiting factor for watering in arid and semi-arid regions. Two soil samples from Sumé-PB and Patos-PB and a Water sample from Puxinanã-PB. Have been studied to know what kind of problems they have and try to solve them. According to Daker (1988) the Patos soil sample can be treated as sodic saline and the one from sumé as sodic. The water samples according to F.A.O. (1985) can be classified as having a severe restriction degree.
