Resumo:
This work was carried out at Hydraulic Laboratory at Federal University
of Lavras - UFLA, from August 1st to October 30 th in 1996, with the main objective to
quantify the falling of flowers and green beans as well as the yield of bean cultivated at
pots sprinkler irrigated with different drops sizes and pulverization degrees. This work
also determined soil losses from splash erosion. It can be concluded that even low
pulverization degree (larger drops) did not promote the excessive flowers and green
beans decay, and did not prejudice the yield. With relation to soil losses by splash
erosion, significative differences were observed being the losses smaller for larger
pulverization degrees.
