Abstract

This work was carryed out in a sandy soil under irrigation, cultivated with mango and grapevine crops. It was evaluated the effect of irrigation and fertilizing, after a period of five years, on some chemical characteristics of the soil and the water table coming up. The results showed that the pH, electrical conductivity, exchangeable cations and available P increased. It was detected the presence of water table in the grapevine area.
