Avaliação de um modelo de simulação para determinação da lâmina máxima de escoamento superficial.

Abstract

An experiment was conducted to evaluate a model developed by Pruski, in 1993, wich estimates the maximum runoff depth and the maximum storage water depth in level terraces. It was used a Yellow-Red Latosol and model Swanson, wich applied precipitations that are typical for Viçosa, Minas Gerais State. The values obtained experimentally were compared to those calculated by the model. The results showed this model adequacy for estimating the maximum runoff depth and the maximum depth of the stored water in level terraces.
