Abstract:
It was characterized the hydraulic performance of a drip irrigation
perforated pipe system with round orifices. According to the results, the orifices tested
with different service pressures presented low values for the flow rate variation
coefficient, that is, about 6.8% (<10%), wich is considered a satisfactory value for emitter
average flow rates. The application uniformity showed a great vaiation with changes in
service pressure and the highest value obtained for the Christiansen’s coefficient was
