Avaliação do uso de água salobra na produção de mudas de espécies florestais.

Abstract

The objective of this work was to evaluate the use of water saline in seedling production of Leucaena leucocephala (Lam.) de Wit and mesquite (Prosopis juliflora (Sw.) D.C.) in Petrolina-PE. It was observed that the survival of mesquite and Leucaena was affected by the level of salinity in water, but the mesquite shows more tolerantce than Leucaena. The height of mesquite was affected by water with CE higher than 7.44 dS/m, but the Leucaena didn’t have its height affected.
