Barragem subterrânea: um estudo de caso.

Abstract

The storage of water in artificial aquifers, by underground dams, is an alternative for supply the necessity of water in the rural zone, mainly for vegetal consumption. In Alexandria - RN, with a 2.0 ha underground dam, there was a significant increasse in the yield of corn, beans and rice crops, allowing the farmer to sell the excess yield and increasse his income.
