Resumo:
This work aims to develop an architectural project, at a preliminary study level, for a Pastoral Center for the Malvinas neighborhood in Campina Grande-PB, based on demands from the local community. The São Francisco de Assis church needs new spaces to improve and expand its activities and events. This project seeks to integrate the existing with the new, taking advantage of the large underutilized area on the land. Furthermore, the study was developed for construction in , made possible by the use of structural modulation. Another very important guideline was flexibility to make better use of spaces with a variety of uses. The proposal also aligns with the values of São Francisco de Assis with the simplicity of materials and connection with nature.
