Abstract

This project has made part of a programme plan for the agricultural development and environment recovery, at Chapada do Norte borough in Jequitinhonha Valley, State of Minas Gerais. Through a special work to introduce technology adapted to the social-economic and environmental characteristics of the region, was developed by peasants in cooperation with Organizations as SACTES, STR and Campo Vale a kind of method to building dams using polypropylene bags, in order to supply water can be use at homes, agricultural activities and to get perennial streams.
