Abstract

The objective of this work is to determine the rainfall and runoff erosivity index ( R ) of the Universal soil loss equation for the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering Experimental Area. The raindrops spectral distribution was obtained by the Eigel and Moore Method. The results showed a value of R equal to 38,22 J/m2.mm for rainfall intensity of 5,4 mm/h.
