Abstract

It was carried out a study in order to find an equation for the determination of irrigated-lettuce crop coefficients, Kc, for any geographic area and sow time. Crop coefficients were fitted against growing-degree days, GDD, easing irrigation scheduling and management of lettuce by the input of the obtained equation in irrigation software.
