Comportamento de linhagens de arroz sob condições de irrigação por inundação contínua em Várzea de Roraima.

Abstract

Na essay was carriedout in a lowland located at the experimental field Bom Intento (Roraima state, Brasil) to study the behavior of new leneages of rice plants (Oryza sativa L) cultivated under continuous irrigation system with the objective of indicating the best ones for more advanced tests of productivity and posterior indication as new cultivars. The tataments consisted of 20 lineajes of rice cultivated beetwen december/95 and april/96. According to the analyses of the results the lineajes CNA 8257, CNA 8319, CNA 8246, CNA 8236, CNA 8243 and CNA 8235 were selected and presenting grain production beetwen 7.69 t/ha and 8.92 t/ha and resistance to leaf blast and grain characteristics compatible winth the market exigences.
