Comportamento de dois métodos de medição de raízes a partir de imagem digitalizada.

Abstract

Corn root samples were collected in a drip irrigated field. After suitable treatment, the roots were scannied resulting in digital images. Two softwares Delta-T Scan and Rootedge were used for measuring area, length and root diameter. A small difference between measurements (7%) was detected. Except for the diameter, area and length from Rootedge were underestimated compared to the values from Delta-T Scan.
