Abstract:
It was evaluated the reliability of the Auger Hole method for measurements of the hydraulic conductivity in six areas, with subsurface drainage, of the Bebedouro irrigation district-Petrolina. The reliability was tested by comparing the measured values to the ones estimated from hydraulic head and drain discharge data. In the five areas in which were possible measurements of hydraulic head and discharge, the reliability was ratified. Because the differences between the measured and estimated values varied only from 3.3 to 10%.
