The performance of the NAAN 7110 micro-sprinkler was evaluated to
determine its hydraulic characteristics, in order to give recommendations on its adequate
selection in the design of trickle irrigation systems. It was verified that this emitter presents
an excellent manufacturing uniformity, with a manufacturing variation uniformity
coefficient (CVF) equal to 0.0049. The mathematical model that described the relationship
between pressure and discharge, for the NAAN 7110 emitter, was a power function type,
with a determination coefficient equal to 0.99. The distribution profile has the triangle
geometry, with a wetted diameter equal to 5.7m.
