Determinação da precipitação dependente e da irrigação suplementar para as culturas do feijão (Phaseolus Vulgaris L.) e do milho (Zea Mays L.), na região de Montes Claros, MG.

Abstract

A study was performed to determine the dependable precipitation, the depth of supplemental irrigation, the evapotranspiration demand for dry bean and corn in Montes Claros, MG. The results showed the rainfall occurrence from October throught March and the evapotranspiration rates were nearly constant during the year; the supplemental irrigation depth for dry bean and corn crops were 232 and 346 mm, respectively; and a more economical irrigation practice can be reached for a planting date on february.
