Resumo:
The present work aims to present an introductory, but signiĄcantly consistent, part of
graph theory to Basic Education teachers with the purpose of being an suggestion for
the mathematics classroom, trying to accomplish some of the dynamism imposed by
current technological transformations. To this end, we have performed a bibliograph
ical research (books, articles and internet) resulting in a collection of introductory
concepts to graph theory, which we consider suicient to support the development of
the didactic sequence proposed. Furthermore, we have explored the modeling, in a
simpliĄed way, of some applications and social networking sites, through the use of
graphs, implementing the idea of recommendation algorithms, in order to promote an
alert to students, given that such algorithms inĆuence, more and more, the way we
interact when browsing. The idea of such algorithms is introduced from the study of
other types of algorithms, for example, the Dijkstra Algorithm. We Ąnished with a
proposal for a didactic sequence, in which some basic concepts about graphs are ad
dressed and there is a direction for a dialogue about recommendation algorithms and
browsing in social network applications, which we consider an attempt to contribute
to the socio-emotional development of students, dueto the possibility of developing
critical awareness about themselves and others in their social group.
