Resumo:
Although, melon (Cucumis melo, L.) is a very important crop for Brazilian economy there is still a great need for basic research topics such as the use of fertirrigation. In order to approach this need a completely randomized designed experiment was conducted laid down in a split plot set to evaluate eight NPK dosages ate three stages of melon fruit. The analysis of the data allowed to conclude that higher levels of yield were obtained at the second stage of fruit development for 300 kg/ha of P2O5 and 150 kg/ha K2O, while the best N-level observed was on the first stage for the least dosage level. It can be concluded also that nitrogen attains for the highest contribution for yield and plants are more sensitive to P2O5 than K2O to fully express their yield potential.
