Resumen:
The objective of this research was to examine the effects of different levels of soil water content, applied by drip irrigation, upon the production of melon (Cucumis melo L. hybrid AF-522) grown under greenhouse conditions. A totally randomized experimental design was utilized, with 4 treatments and 5 repetitions. Irrigation, by a drip watering system, was controlled by tensiometers and was applied at different soil water tensions. Greater production was obtained with irrigation performed at lower soil water tensions.
