Résumé:
Interceptor drains were suggesrted for containing subsurface contamination of
agricultural chemicals. The interceptor drains treated here-in have their objective to drain
the upper part of the aquifer to capture the contaminants and to delimit their extention in the
aquifers. The present study is meant to investigate the effect of interceptor drains in
agricultural lands in Sume, PB in function of their position, widths and depths and the
relative permeabilities of the materials of the drain and the matrix. of soil. The Figure 1
presented explains the utility of such drains in containing the polluents.
