Resumen:
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of the fertirrigation and frequencies of N and K application by drip irrigation on the growth parameters and yield of melon crop, cultivated in sandy soil under sheltered conditions, in São Manoel, SP, Brazil. The study was conducted in a randomized block design, with five treatments and four replications. The treatments were: T1- manual application in 15, 30 and 45 days after the transplant of seedling, T2, T3, T4 and T5, application a irrigation water et frequencies of 2, 7, 14 and 21 days, respectively. No significant effect of treatments on leaf area and dry matter were observed. However, the commercial yield was influenced by the fertirrigation and application frequencies of N and K.
