Résumé:
The main objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of different
water depths the onion seeds yield, CV IPA-6, under field conditions and irrigated by a
sprinkler system in Piracicaba, São Paulo. The trial was laid out in a randomized
complete block design with 6 replications, and the following treatments (water of
depths): Lo = 284 mm, L1 = 328 mm, L2 =407 mm, L3 = 515 mm, e L4 = 594 mm. The
different depths of water were controlled by Hg - tensiometeres installed in a depth of 15
cm. Results showed a significant difference for the water depths studied on the onion
seed yield and the critical matrix potential corresponding to the highest onion seed
yielding production was - 30 to - 35 Kpa. The highest estimated yield production was
1153 kg/ha for a water depth of 581,4 mm.
