Résumé:
The objective of this work was to etimate the heating time effects of soil
samples on the texture analysis results. Horizons A and B samples from Latosols, in Minas
Gerais State, were colleted and submitted to different heating times (20, 40, 60, 80 e 100
minutes) the 130ºC during sample preparation. The texture analysis was realized according
to EMBRAPA laboratory routine, 1979. The obtained results showed an opposite effect to
that expectted, since the values of clay fraction decreased while silt values increased which
demonstrates an aggregation occurrence of the smaller fractions, in part assigned to
dehydration of the particles.particles .
