Resumo:
The objective of this study was to determine the water distribution
uniformity a drip irrigation system as function of use time. The study was carried out in a
two years operation drip irrigation system with 3,600 hours of use. The system is installed
in the experimental fields of “Centro de Pesquisa Agropecuária do Meio-Norte” (CPAMNEMBRAPA), at Parnaíba, Piauí state, Brazil. The dripers were a Katif model, with flow
rate of 3,75 L.h-1 and 200 kPa operation pressure. The water distribution uniformity was
determine by Merriam & Keller adapted method. There was not statistical difference
(P>0.05) among flow variation of drips, showing that the water distribution uniformity
coefficient was not affected during the working time of the system.
