Résumé:
The effect of a sand-loam soil infiltration characteristics upon the furrow
rrigation system performance was verified through field evaluations and a sensitivity
analysis, using the SIRMOD model. It was verified that an increase in the soil
infiltration capacity from 0.094 to 0.168m3/m , promoted an increase in the deep
percolation losses up to 47.8%, and a decrease equal to 20.2% in the runoff, resulting in a
degeneration of the application efficiency from 60.5% to 32.9%.
