Resumo:
Low productivity in bean crops is due to inadequate management practices, seed quality and lack of irrigation, where natural rains are not regularly available. The main objective of this paper is to evaluate the sensitivity of a bean crop to water deficits during its growth and reproductive periods, based on final yield and productive parameters. With the results obtained, it was possible to conclude that bean crop is sensitive to water deficits, compared with full irrigated and non-deficits plots. It was noticed a significant effect of the total irrigation depth on the final yield, number of pods per plant and number of seeds per pod.
