Abstract

The aim of this study was determining maximum irrigation demand and cycle length for corn crop in Rio Verde Grande watershed, Minas Gerais, Brazil. For two planting seasons, the maximum irrigation demand and cycle length were determined for the whole watershed, using GIS. The metodology utilized allowed the identification of the considered informations in all points of the watershed and it is indicated for other regions, principally those which have water using conflicts.
